Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter, born October 8, 1968, is also an activist. She played Ainsley Hayes in the NBC political drama The West Wing (2000-2002; 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne on the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Miami (2002-2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born October 8 on the 8th of October, 1968. As an infant, she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). They raised her in Raleigh, North Carolina. When her parents divorced, she was only three years old. old. Whit is her older brother . She is also an adopted kid.



 



 Procter graduated from Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, Procter joined the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter worked as a anchor on news for WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. Procter eventually earned diplomas in dance and journalism.
